Overview
The Certificate in Corporate Sustainability Management is a programme developed by Sustineri Partners, a member of the CPD Certification Service. Successfully delivered in February 2025, the next cohort is scheduled for September 2025. The programme is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to lead in sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. Designed for a global audience and addressing regional needs, this course prepares participants to effectively integrate ESG principles into business strategies. The hybrid delivery model combines self-paced learning, live webinars, and interactive sessions, making it accessible to professionals across sectors.
Challenge
As organisations worldwide face increasing regulatory and societal pressure to adopt sustainable practices, the demand for ESG expertise has grown significantly. In the Adria region, the need is especially acute due to a lack of ESG-focused educational providers outside the financial sector, evolving regulatory standards, and the necessity for sustainability integration across industries. Professionals must acquire the skills to navigate these challenges, ensure compliance, and foster meaningful organisational change.
Approach
The ten-week programme combines eight online modules with one in-person event, offering a comprehensive educational experience. Participants engage in self-paced learning with high-quality materials, interactive group projects to apply concepts in real-world contexts, and live webinars with subject-matter experts and industry leaders. The course also includes case studies and scenario-based exercises to develop practical problem-solving skills, culminating in a final project assessment to consolidate learning and demonstrate applied expertise.
Delivered by Sustineri Partners, the programme is supported by a network of esteemed implementing partners, including The AIRE Centre Western Balkans, FEFA Faculty, European University of Tirana, and the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka. These partners contribute regional and international expertise, ensuring the programme’s relevance and effectiveness across diverse industries.
