Overview
The Adria Responsible Carbon Industries Alliance brings together companies from carbon-intensive industry, including steel, cement, fertiliser and energy, to work on decarbonisation. It was launched with an expression of interest signed at the 2026 Summit by producers from four markets.
Approach
The alliance convened as a dedicated strand at the 2026 edition. These are the sectors where the transition is hardest and where a single producer acting alone carries a competitive penalty, which is the argument for doing it as an alliance.
Impact
The alliance is working towards a ministerial-level conference at Summit 2027, and is supported between Summits through the Adria Future Foundation.
