Overview
NextGen Adria is a regional youth platform launched by Sustineri Partners to give young people a structured voice in the decisions being taken about the region’s future. It connects them with policymakers, executives and investors rather than with each other alone.
Approach
Designed by Sustineri Partners and run with the Regional Cooperation Council’s Western Balkan Youth Lab 2, private sector partners and the Young European Ambassadors network. The cohort takes part across the full programme rather than as observers: national youth dialogues before the summit, recommendations presented at it, and cross-country exchange after. The Summit carries a dedicated NextGen track of mentoring, public panels and closed-door sessions with regional and European leaders.
Impact
Youth participation is now a standing feature of the Adria Future Summit rather than a session someone has to argue for each year. Participants reach an audience through Summit media and the WeBalkans platform, and an alumni group carries the network forward.
